Default How much timing will a p650 take?

I was just looking at the Dynatek ignition curve for the p650. I noticed that it only went to 33*. On the CDI you only need to use regular fuel. On my p650 I advanced the timing 8*, add that to the stock 28* and thats 35*. Add that with a Dynajet kit, p360 belt and I was hitting 69 often. After careful examization of the plugs by me and a friend we came to the conclusion that the motor could take more timing and still run on 93 octane fuel. So I believe that you could run the CDI with at least 4* of timing, that is 37* so that means more power and more MPH if you know how to clutch it.

What do you guys think about this idea?
Has anyone tried it?

Diamond G did some test runs in the past and found that acceleration times were slower at 35 degrees or more, than at the stock 28 degrees. The test 650 had only intake/jetting/exhaust mods. Maybe with more extensive mods you could benefit a little more, but eventually you will fire a little to early on the compression stroke and it will be counter productive.

Pump Gas Engines (Eg. 93 Octane) usually make the most power with max timing in the range of 32 to 34 degrees.

Jetting, RPM, Load and Compression raito will vary the needed timing number between that range.

By running the 8* timing(36* at 6500 RPM) my p650 would run with a stock p700. The power came on very heavy and it pull real hard right to the limitor. It would shurly benefit by the contuinueis timing of the CDI or DG3 module. In the higher RPM the timing would help alot.
