I just brought a vforce and love it... But I was wondering how durable is the auto transmission on the bike. Is it like a car auto transmission. If so do they eventually break down like one once you start to beat on the bike? Are they delicate?? Let me get some feed back on what you guys think.

 

badboypete no they are like a snowmobile clutch beat on it all you want change belt and clean the rollers and beat some more.

 

They are tough, you maintain it it will last. I have over 50,000km logged on the Kawi clutches and the 700 clutches is probably the best yet on a Kawi.

I am amazed the abuse the tranny takes on the V, I have about 2k miles on mine with NO problems even with alot of clutch work done. think about on the gas, off the gas.

 

Over 6000 hard miles and no problems yet. I have changed the belt once and I do clean it every time I have the cover off.
