Is there anyone out there that could please give me some ideas on where and how to mount the rear rezzie for my ELKAs on my V-Force. I have tried to figure something out all night and jsut can't seem to get it. This is my first pair of shocks and I am jsut lost right now.

Take a look at my picture page, I took a shot of where I installed mine, but my line to the rezzie was only eight inches long. I just installed a set of Elka's on a friends V and when i recieved them from Elka the line going to the rezzie was three feet long. On this shock I followed the lower frame tube up to the front of the quad and installed it onto the right front down tube right behind the front right shock. (in other words I followed the rear brake line from the left hand control) It came out nice and also you can adjust the rear rezzie without getting off the quad, I think thats why Elka went to the longer line. Did you have to remove anything to get the rezzie throu in the back? Also is the rezzie mounted upside down, if not was it how hard of a turn did the lind have to make? I am going to try anything I can today to get this thing mounted up.

Thanks Mark, I just need to find time now to load it up and hit the road. Hope things are well with your family and yourself.
First, DON"T disassemble anything on the shock. And I don't know if you have to remove anything in order to snake it thru, I already had pretty much everything disassembled. The ressie needs to be passed thru the back to the front, I'll take a look at mine in a momont and see how I did it. And if I remeber corectly, I think it was installed upside down, doesn't matter though, dial was still in front, Putt

I am pretty sure I know what you are talking about I worry WAY to much. I'm sure you know what I am talking about, you put all this money in these things you just don't want to mess anything up. So, any info you can give or have already gave I thank you very mech for.
