Default KFX700... Any cheap power?

I have an 04 700. I've heard numerous people talk about the throttle screw. Mine is in there, but it's back all the way out. This thing is still too slow. Does anyone know of anyother things I could do? I need 2 make this thing faster... minus extreme motor work. Thanks!

My V-Force has a top speed of about 100MPH..... Sitting on the back of my trailer..

I'm sure if I upgraded to a heavier shoe, i could go faster...

LoL, you might wanna try getting a new CDI, that would be a huge improvement from what I've read.. I never heard anything about the throttle screw though..

umm first off welcome to the forum!!

Second you could do some work with the clutchin i.e a clutch kit...umm pipe it (define cheap) umm could make it lighter, k&n filter, airbox mod, and after all that rejet...and a new cdi...dont know if any are succesfull right now because I have not really paid attention to the cdi talk so yeah

Try the Napa 7335 Hose. It was the best HP gain, better than the pipe, K&N and CDI.

It is a replacement for your stock air intake.

The first mod you should try (IMHO) is a new clutch spring (Dalton blue or EPI pink). I think this is the best and cheapest way to get more out of your V. There is another forum that is loaded with good info on clutching, I don't know if it's cool to post the address though.

You also need to let your beast breath, i.e. the NAPA hose or what I think is just as good, and is FREE, is to just take the stock air intake snorkle (on the front of the airbox) off. You will probobly have to re-jet though.

Pipes are good, CDI is good if you have motor work, a flywheel key is a good mod.

Do the spring and snorkle, and for less than $30 you will have a new machine!
