definately get the heads done ( IMO, flowing them, is better than just port work )...

definately get Mickey's cams...

prelube the heck out of the top end, during assembly...

Pull the theromstat, & add the Evans Coolant...

Install a temp gauge...

route the crank case vent up by the other vent lines ( remove it from the filter box )...

install a tach, if you don't have one already, for clutch tuning...

get the jetting set... you may need plastic surgery to wipe that big smile off your face...

have a close look at the rocker arm pins for gauling. It may not hurt to hone the rockers(holes )a half thou bigger,as they are known for sticking. Lube these really well when you reassemble and you will have no trouble.

ok i have a few more questions for anyone with the 800cc kit, or mickey if you get this feel free to help.

i am about 600 to 1000 altitude, what are the jets being used, i have the dyno-jet installed now.
i tried the dial-a-jets but took them out. (i all ways could try them again if need so)

whats the best all around spring with the kit. (i also already have the dalton complete kit with the blue spring)
i mainly trail ride and little dragging.

micky i am sending my cams to you monday, hope you were able to get the sleeves in.

anybody with good ideas or sugestion please feel free to talk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Crashdog,

I would get the P&P on the heads while you have them off. I'm using Dial-a-jets with my BB kit and they are working well with a 148/150 combo. I'm usually below 1,000' when we ride. I can't help you on the springs since I'm run a P and not a V.

Peace,
Sgt_Rock
