wd-40?
#13
I use to spray down the out drive on my boat with it and a lot do, to make sure there is no salt water hiding anywhere after a good cleaning. I don't think WD will really hurt anything? but it seems like a waste and the next time one would go riding dust and dirt may be more likely to get into places and stick where you don't want it to. I think just a REAL good cleaning using soap and water is all that is really needed. depending on your plastics color and type, SOS pads can do the trick getting out deep dirty marks and a splash of Armor-all or Son of a Gun will make it shine! The only think I know to make that engine and tail pipe shine like new again is buy a new quad!~LOL Al those if you really have time a little eng.degreaser, small scrub brush and elbow grease will go a long way! ~coop

I clean my p650 with mud, it covers the green good.
I have used WD-40, it can't hurt anything, it is such a light oil. I quit using it as it evaporates pretty quickly. I don't think it stays long enough to harm rubber. Son-of-a-Gun on the plastic and Pam underneath, to help the mud from sticking. Then go cover in mud again. It takes too long to clean really well. I think my engine is permently stained with the east Texas mud. I bought it for fun and abuse, not to win beauty shows.
