Brute Force Thoughts
The speculation was fun to hype, now its time to deal with reality. Kawasaki is here to stay as the big gun in town. I'm happy with my 03' 650, bought it in mint condition with $1000 of goodies for over $1000 off retail. This machine impresses me each time I ride it and try something new.
To each his own, can't wait to hear some ride reviews from average folks and not the $$$$ mag riders.

Notice how the inner front black plastic is not on the 750? I hate the one on the 650/700 bt I do feel it keeps the debree from the tires from getting to the radiator. The rad also looks higher. So has anyone put the bigger carbs on their 650 or 700 yet? What other parts can we steal from a 750 to put on the other praires?

When I got my 02' Grizz and the guy's I ride with thought it couldn't get any better for years, then one of them got the p650 and had more power but a ruff ride. I always said I would like to have the ride of my grizz and the power of the p650. When I decided to buy another the p700 was out and I got. Then Artic Cat made made the IRS p650 motor atv. I am glad things happened the way it did, when I ride my Grizz now after having the p700 I changed my mind. I like the strait axil better even if it's not as smooth. The new BF atv is the best of both worlds but can it due both things well? I think not. I now prefer the strait axil, it is more stable on off camber hill's and the lower center of gravity let's me slide around corners with out tipping. There are good points for IRS and SRA it's up to the person which is best for there style.

It looks like Kawasaki needed to spend much more time developing this machine. For the test it sounds like it doesn't handle worth crap. This is the third time now I have heard someone say the handling is down right scary.

Indeed, there have been at least 2 reports now of poor handling on the BF 750 (especially at high speeds)... but I would like to point out that its possible that the test riders of the BF 750 did not have enuf seat time to dial in the shocks for their particular weight and preferences...remember that the BF 750 shocks are supposedly adjustable with 5 different settings. Just something to think about.

Hi Kawaiguy,
So is it confirmed that the new Prairie 700 will have double wishbone suspension instead of the struts? And is it true that Kawasaki 'is not' replacing the current Prairie 700 with the 650?
I will be in the market again to purchase a new machine this upcoming fall and hoping to buy the Prairie 700. I like the single rear axle instead of IRS, more for sport riding.

Why no struts in front???? Didn't they learn from the grizzly??? It looks like itcould be a bit top heavy, and even the test riders
said it was a little hard to handle when cornering at speed... It seems to look a bit too much like something suzukie would have
designed except for the engine-which defenitly is awesome. But why no EFI??? Will it be better than the soon to come all new
800 efi sportsman???
