I don't think that the EFI is any great loss. The'o4 700 that I have now is probably the best working bike that I could have wished for, lots of power and fun to drive. The IRS is nice if you do alot of rough terrain, but where we bike locally, it is a good mix of mud, water, wood trails and logging roads. The swing arm adds lots of stability and I also think that in the long haul, it will be more durable because of the fact that there are less moving parts. If I know Kawasaki and its marketing strategy, if there are problems on the '05 Brute Force, they will not wait long to make the improvements. They will not be like Honda and market the same bikes with the same technology, year after year.

Stock for stock a P700 will outrun a Polaris 700 EFI. Yep its true seen it with my own eyes guy on the P700 won and he was lighter and then they switched and the P700 won again. Maybe Kawi is waiting to see what kind of problems people have with their machines like the polaris with the temp. sensor, you drive in cold water then get in hot air and you have to let the sensor dry off or it will mess something up(not sure what)

For those that keep up with sportbikes: Remeber in 2001 when Honda went to EFI with their CBR600F4i? Replacing the CBR600? The new Fi was slower and had a few issues. Yes, they worked put the problems in the following years, but EFI is not the greatest thing since sliced bread like some of you want to make it out to be.

The IRS... to me is great to have the option.

Have a 750 SRA... well I now some people wouldn't agree with me but I feel the 700 defentanlty is lacking horses... if it wasn't I know even a 750 wouldn't do; so I would call Mickey or someone to increase the cc...

EFI... would be nice someday but not in a hurry for it; I would rather wait and have less problems with it rather than have it now and have problems; let Kawi R&D deparment keep it until they want to release it.

I feel Kawi could custom make atvs to your personal tastes and people will still find something to harp about. I'm impressed with the kawi line up; I feel the 500cc gap in the line up is the biggest problem they should address because not everyone is like us, a 650 twin ATV is just too big mentally for some people, so Kawi needs a 500 cc ATV because there's a big gap between the 360 and the 650. I don't really care if there's an other brand out there that has features that the Kawi doesn't have unless I wasn't happy with the Kawi there is no real reason to switch to an other brand because of let's say EFI. Infact there is alot of really good machines on the market now.
