Prairie 360 sets world land and speed record!

Thanx for the update newbeatle---I 'm trying to be patient but the more I talk about it the more psyched it gets me--- With the way my 360 runs now, any improvement on top of this (especially a plug and play) would be better than Christmas! I wonder if any KAW technicians ever read this board?? Maybe they could anonymously throw us a bone every once in awhile. But then again, I guess that would be cheatin. As to the post on the Polaris 800--I think it pretty cool if its true, although not for me. Still cant figure why anyone would want to go that fast??????

Funny you should ask---------my neighbor got a new GPS last night and I went as fast as the thing would go--on a slight downhill grade and my speedo said 48mph---the GPS said 47.6mph--- Anybody says their P360 goes faster down hill than mine, please tell me what you are doing--because mine was screamin pretty good at 48mph. Still loses speed quickly on an uphill though--

MOSES... I didn't have time to find the instructions, for the Nabor module, however I color coded each modules wires, last summer, when I tested them, so it was easy to figure out... it will go out with hand written instructions today... you should likely see it mid next week..

can u pull the front wheels, yeah but it's a lot of work. Ok i got the dynojet kit today and installed it. OMM you were on the right track all it is is a new needle that you can shim easily and a bunch of jets. well anyway the bike runs better and check this out it will spin from a dead stop on my basement floor, not that impressive but it's a start. i want to try the black spring and the flywheel key so OMM i need info on the key if you don't mind.

well another update, i finally got to ride and low end and midrange is ok but i got nothing over 35mph, OMM why is this so???? i think i may be to rich so i will lean out the main and if that dosen't work i guess it's a call to dynojet. also do u think that without a baffel in the muffler i may not have enough backpressure?? well that should be here tuesday. well off to work on the beast

Happy 4th and 5th of July---just got back from doin the long weekend family campin thing and couldnt wait to see whats happenen here ---havent been on mine since last week an as soon as it cools down this evening i'm gonna give her hell-------
Glad you got the dyna kit lowes--sorry to hear about the top end though---Best i can tell you is go leaner on the mains---does the dyna kit make it run as good as your makeshift shims???
Are you recording what you are doing and responses from it?? (like top speed at a certain point or some type of guaging to what your doing) I was goin crazy until I started writing down what jets and shims and what speed they were givin me at top of my hill.
Like I said before, I didnt really get any response from my timing key, or muffler mod, or air cleaner mods until i started playing with the jets---I think all the mods worked for me but cant say which worked best. Although the black EPI clutch spring definitely grabs hard on pull outs from a dead stop, it seems like bike lost some takeoff power because clutches dont slip anymore and I dont think there is enough power from the 360 to perform correctly with no clutch slip from a dead stop takeoff--Maybe the module might suprise us. Still Like the black spring though and do not think I will change it out. If you do the timing key lowes, you will need a flywheel puller--about $50.00-- I have one but I dont think I wanta part with it yet cause I'm thinkin about bumpin timing up a little more than were it is now. I am running regular gas with no hint of valve ping, and am thinkin I can get away with a little more timing advance. Wish you lived closer and we could compare speeds and power,-My timing key is a Mike Penland creation and I do not know how many degrees it is (buy a couple of keys that are custom cut so you are not guessing like I am) I think that I could get away with about 8 degree key, and I am guessing that my present key is around 6 degree.
