Default LTZ400 Z400 KFX400 NEW Upgrade! 3+ HP in 5 minutes!

Is this crap or does it work? Found it on ebay.

The same Performance company that brought you the complete line of 4-stroke Furious-Flow Filters is proud to now offer you a 5-minute upgrade that will easily ADD 3+ HorsePower to your ATV!

What is it and HOW does it work???

Your stock Cooling Fan Sensor tends to let your engine get a bit too hot before turning on and beginning to cool your engine. Obviously, a cooler running engine will produce more horsepower. Our Performance Modified replacement Coolant Sensors will turn on your Cooling fan sooner, thus not allowing your engine to exceed 190 degrees Fahrenheit, yet it will not allow it to drop below 175 degrees fahrenheit before shutting off the cooling fan. This temperature range is IDEAL for your 4-stroke, liquid cooled engine, and will MAXIMIZE available horsepower at ALL TIMES!

We have run several tests on various different ATV's and have seen a minimum +2HP gain and a maximum of +5HP gain on our test bikes. We can assure you that you can expect an average +3HP using our Performance Coolant Sensor. This is a LOT of extra power when you consider what your starting with! It REALLY makes a difference that you can FEEL!

I don't believe it for a second. If it was true, the factory would do it, controlling temperature costs NOTHING!

Yes, you will get more power in the long run. It wont give you more h.p though it will keep your engine cool, which is what you want. I dont care what any one says the cooler the engine the faster and better it will run theres no two doubts about it. Your engine gets very tired after riding for a while because of the heat and if your engine is running cooler than the guy next to you, you will have a definate advantage especailly in the summer. Hot Engine Creates Hot AIr WHich Creates no POWER. THe cooler the engine runs the faster it will be.

Hey Mark2203 Do you have both hotcams intake and exhaust cams? How well does it run now? Did it give you a bunch of power? I have both cams and had them put in but lost power had them removed and gained all my power back again, i just have them sitting here and am thinking about haveing them installed some where else.

Thanks for the info guys. For $25 bucks, it may be worth it. I've been wanting to put on a better radiator but this may help for now.

Hey Murdr...When I did the upgrade I called hotcams and they said that a good combination when your're getting your cams done is to do the DRZE gasket to raise the compression and add valve springs. I already had the ignition and after talking to a few mechanics, they said that I should change the carb out and get it ported at the same time. It really hauls now. About as fast as it will go without taking it up to a 440 or 450. Before doing these additional upgrades, It kind of lagged on the bottom end but when it hit the high RPMs it fricken flew. I missed that lower end punch so I did the additional work. I really like it and, although people were skeptical, I run regular pump gas. Wasn't ready for race fuel. I would say add the DRZE gaskets and the valve springs (extra 100-150 bucks), which is what Hotcams originally recommended, you already have the CDI, and you should be happy with the performance. If you want, you can just do the intake CAM but I think that's for certain riding types. Call Hotcams if you need info. They were a good souce.

Get some good shocks too. I think they were the best investment I made. At least get your stock ones revalved.

Mark2203 is it faster than when u had the stock cams? Can you beat a yfz or a v-force? Currently i can beat a V-force, honda trx-450r, and only some yfz-450s i can keep up with.

Don't you have a nitrous kit though?

In a strait line, I lose but not by huge margin. On the trails, I'll outhandle the v-force any day and keep up with 450s. Depends on the rider. It's definitely really fast on the trails, especially on the strait away where I can really open it up. In the dunes the sand sucks a lot of horsepower but it's faster than before by a longshot.

I am just afraid that i am going to make it slower again by putting the hotcams back in. Its fast as hell now. Hotcams told me that the intake cam you dont lose any power plus you gain low end. Putting in the exhaust cam with the intake cam makes 14% more power and u lose 1% low end. So iam thinking it should make it faster. I just dont want to have to spend the money to have them put in and have it be slow again.
