I got there after he left, the parts guys said their Brute force was on it's way......asked about why they didn't EFI the 750 like Suzuki was, He said they couldn't get the reliability the way they wanted in dirt/water/mud, so they stayed with carbs.....and probably will stay that way for the '06 and up model's........The BIGGEST thing he told them was that the updated "MULE" type vehicle would be available come Sept. and would make the 'Rhino" obsolete.....It will have the IRS and the big V-Twin......MMMMMMM MMMMMMM

What happened to this new mule type vehicle that was to be coming out? The new mule models that have been released certinly don't make the rhino obsolete. i hope they are still bring a mule with the prairie motor in it with more top speed. Does anyone know any more?

This is something I would have really liked to see happen. That 750 engine in a Rhinio-like vehicle...wow! As it turned out, the newest Mule isn't even a minor threat to the Rhino. I'm still thinking, however, that Kawasaki must be working on something to compete with the Rhino.

I told the parts guy that when he was told about the new vehicle that Sept, was way early, they haven't had time to really R&D this thing, they did change the body style of the smaller one, so I would be willing to bet they are working on it as we speak and it may be a late '05 release or they may have to wait until the '06 model year....But with the success Yam has had with their Rhino, Kaw will not stand by and let that market get past them without a model to compete with the Rhino, I say it's still coming, just not as quick as they first thought.......

I am still not a big fan of EFI on an atv , I ride with a KQ and it will not crank and better than my BF when its cold and definitely does not have the throtle response my BF has but it does get a lot better fuel miliage , if you are out west I might can see EFI ,but there is no mountains on the east side of the US where you need to rejet. The KQ even dies every now and then with out even being in water , Suzuki says there EFI came from the sport bike , sport bikes don't bounce as bad as a ATV, take in all the dust and even occusional drink of water that an ATV will.
