No neutral indicator.
#1
Just installed the DG3 and noticed shortly thereafter my green neutral light worked intermittantly. When it won't light up you must apply the brakes to start it. I don't think the module has anything to do with it but something is up.
Any suggestions?

vtwin, i think your neutral position switch is bad. looking at the book its on the left side of the motor, at the back on the top. wright by your rear motor mount bolts. the neutral switch will send your dash a signal that it is in neutral, then it will go through your neutral starter circuit relay to compleat the circuit. and waalaa, vrooom. it looks like it has one wire on it . maybe check that wire, it might have come loose or broken off from a rock or something.
i had a problem with my neutral starter circuit relay (it wouldnt start), but my neutral light came on.

I just checked that wire out and it seems fine. With the seat off I can wiggle the gear shift and can hear the relay click and the light comes on. This is the relay (at least that is what it sounds and looks like) just to the left of the CDI (drivers side).
My warranty might just be up, just my luck, but would me installing the DG3 void anything?
