What RPM's are you guys turning on your Prairies at the sand drags, and with what size paddles? I need to know so that I know aproximately what size turbo to get. Thanks for any information!...........

Custom... very interesting... I haven't sand dragged yet, but even on asphalt, I hit rev limit... I'd expect that on a looser media like sand, it would be even easier to hit rev limit... of course for 300ft drags, your shift out rpm will be at least some what tunable with the primary set up you are running... I assume you a trying to get the waste gate set up for the rpm range on the turbo ???

WOW Ernie, a turbo? That sounds like a fun project. Maybe you will pass me now. As for the paddles, 22" may do well, you can try mine if we can work it out (is it the same bolt pattern?) I don't know if the 24" will fit as good as on the V. How is the pool going?

What is the rev limit with the Dyna? I think you are right, I'd probably hit the limiter in sand, so that's the RPM I should put in the formula.

I recall the V has honda size hubs on the back. Should be 4/110.

Dyna rev limit is 9200 if I remember right.

Wow! I hit that only once, in low. I can't wait to hit it in high gear, Hey DWB, did you get your Dyna back, or your money?

you will have to have alot of power to hit a 9200 rev limitor in sand in high.(wont happen)

all I can say is you will need to find a crank dyno or you will be lost as far as clutching goes.

if you find a crank dyno tell mike he needs to run his on the dyno also.

Only one I now who has one is Dynoray.

the Vforce has the same bolt pattern as the prairie . And yes it will take alot of power to hit revlimiter on the prairie in high and in sand.

VENOM is correct, the Prairie & the Force both have 4 on 137mm rear hubs, but the Honda 4 on 110mm are a common mod for the Forces, so they have the same bolt pattern front & rear... I was checking last night, & I think the Raptor hubs will go on as well ( they are all 24 spline axels, as long as the diameter is the same ) the Raptor hubs are 4 on 115mm bolt pattern, the same as Honda automotive wheels, which may give me a few more options on rear wheel diameters ( still trying to reach my goal of 85 mph in the 1/4 mile, at the drag strip, before summer is over )...
