I droped my 650 off at dealer and told them belt was ssquealing now and again when pulling away , they turned round and said it needed oiled or greased , !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dont beleive a word these robing gips...ys tell you , my dealer is rubbish , an probs with a 650 , e mail me ive seen more than nyroc !!!!!!!!

 

They actually said to grease your belt? Now that would really F it up. Might stop the squeal though![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

It's the age old story of there being too much deflection.How many miles do you have on that belt??? if you are mechanical at all you can tighten the belt.If its squealing I would go ahead and replace it and shim the new one correctly.You can keep that old one as a spare.Nyrocs site has all the info.I have an 02 650 and love it.
