Default Amsteel winch rope ?

I just took my steel wire off of my warn A2500 winch and it was looped threw the drum. The ? is when I ordered my Amsteel winch rope it showed a terminal clamp on the end, my winch does not have one is there away to make it fit or am I not going to be able to use it. Thanks Phill

on my A2000, the cable fits through the drum and doubles back to hold it in place. so i cant use the brass end on the amsteel rope either. but since they say to keep at least 8 wraps on the drum anyway, i'm just going to cut it off and work without it.

its still gotta be better than that steel cable. ive shed enough blood over that tool of the devil.
