Secondary spring question P700
I have read several posts about the benefits of the EPI black secondary spring. I have mostly stock Twin Peaks 700, and decided after 650 miles that the stock Dunlop tires have to go. I have 26" mud lites on the way, and I am almost ready to pull the trigger on the EPI black spring for the benefit of the belt, but looking at their website, the KSS5 (Almond secondary spring) has higher listed weight specifications. I am also not sure what is meant by the specifications.
KSS5 (Almond spring) @ 2 1/2" load = 63.5kg 1 1/4" load = 113.4kg
KSS3 (Black spring) @ 2 1/2" load = 52.2kg 1 1/4" load = 99.9kg
I guess what I am asking in a nutshell is which of these would be better and why?
I assume the higher the load rating, the harder it will backshift and I may lose more top end speed with the Almond spring? Does anyone have any experience with the almond secondary?

Secondary spring question P700
thebull, for what i can tell ya is the almond spring would be good for larger tires say 27" and larger. i do beleave you would not need that spring.
the black spring would be the spring of choise. i run the black with no problems. i do beleave newbeatle and some other people runs the black as well and he puts on 28" tires when he goes mud bogging.
hopes this helps
