The new Feature on the BF & future Quads

Mastrblastr,
That is rather a hefty price almost 4000 more than the US price. A little math and it is less exspensive to have moneys changed to US dollars then go pick it up. I think I will wait a little longer to see what the damages are going to be in Alberta.

The danger is definetely there. I've got the Dyna, so no reverse rev limiter. I was backed up against a hill in 4X4, and accidently blipped the throttle. Man, I can't tell you how close I was to flipping that thing forward!

Flareside,
I understand Kawi will introduce an EFI Quad next year for the coming 2006 line up. This is speculation but trust me it is in the future and it is far superior to a carb system. Sled guys have all the necessary equipment that can be adapted for our purpose. I have had EFI on my former machine and it is great. I especially not having to choke my motor to start it and not having to adjust jets for altitude. Performance enhancing add ons are easy to hook up a proper system is worry free. I have heard Polaris has had some problems but I would gather that will be fixed.
Customfabandweld,
I agree reverse can be interesting on full throttle a gentle thumb is the order here, lol. Soon as I had my quad stuck trying to get it out with the limp one cylinder mode and hanging onto the reverse limiter button trying to walk it out I very quickly removed that little button. Full power reverse was fun especially the lip stand on the handlebar, lol. I like that it is not there with the Dyna CDI although it might hurt to have a switch for a limp mode.

..... Hmm, must've read that wrong about the BF being a feulie. Granted EFI has superiorities over the carb; like now you couldn't GIVE me a carb for the car, I just won't have it, but 20 years ago it was in it's infancy, and back then you couldn't GIVE me EFI. Probably gonna be the same with the quads, I'm not very crazy about change.

Kwackermann,
I fully understand where you are coming from it is hard to change but EFI is a big plus once all the bugs are worked out. I didn't want to change from carbs on my car now that I have EFI on the car I would not go back to carbs. Time will tell but it is in the cards!!!!!!
