SPEED-O GONE HAY WIRE
Have anyone noticed there speed-o being a little slow or retarded? The other day i was riding and looked down and it said something like 32 mph. then i hit the gas to make a top end run, looked down after i started to go and it read like 25 mph. i thought it was a fluke. yesterday i tryed it again and the same thing happened. it went from 35mph, down to 13mph and then it caught up to 44mph.
how am i to do test and tune if the speed-o aint working?
i was just wondering if anyone else had this problem.
i just hope its the sending unit, because i know the dash would cost some change.

SPEED-O GONE HAY WIRE
Is your quad wet when the speedo went haywire??? My speedo used to act funny when I washed it...I figured out that the speed sensor wire or DG holeshot wire was getting wet (I had an on/off switch for the holeshot module mounted on my handlebars plastic at that time)...as soon as it dried off, the speedo-worked good again. Now I no longer have that problem b/c I removed the DG holeshot (and installed the Dyna CDI in its place).
