First off wondering what the stock jet sizes are for my 04 STP700 and also wondering if I will have to rejet after installing a K&N. I know the only tried and true method is a plug test but just wondering what most of you have noticed. Also will I see that much of a gain with no exhaust mod - i'd really rather like to keep this beast quiet (from the exhaust end anyway). If it helps I will be doing NO airbox mods as i run alot of deep water and mud and have been closer than i should have to swampyness already. Also here in Saskatchewan we cant be more than a few hundred feet above sea level.

The jets are 138 and 142. You shouldn't have to rejet unless you install a snorkel or open up air box. I doubt you will feel any increase. Get a cdi or module. You will love it.
