There are two seals. I changed mine last year and it wasn't that hard. The propeller shaft has a spring in the middle so you just compress that together and it will come off. Check to make sure but I think the seal numbers are 92049-1572 and 92049-1573.

I did this about a month ago and it was fairly straight forward. The part numbers supplied by mudseeker are correct. I only replaced the outter seal (1573) but there is also an inner that I did not feel like playing with but will have to do probably during the winter along with my rear axle seals and swingarm bearings.
If you need any help post or PM me.

It's a piece of cake to replace.....mine does not leak now at all for now.I just wonder if the frt motor bolt coming loose has anything to do with it??? My engine in the frt could have moved alot and it appears to affect the driveshaft angle......just a thought

Mine old 650 was always having that seal and others leaking , Kawasaki replace my entire front chuck assembly , all bearing seals and even a new clutch pack and it did not take a few weeks for it to start leaking again and everything was tight.. I think maybe some parts are not cast true and it might be causing the seals to be egg shaped.
