kfx 700 k&n air filter

Default kfx 700 k&n air filter

i was thinking about getting a k&n air filter, and was wondering what the jetting might be. i have no mods to it, it is just bone stock. i ride frome 0 to 4000 feet. please help.

It is usually jetted rich from the factory. With just a K&N, I think you will be OK to leave it as is.

Default kfx 700 k&n air filter

just got it today. i installed it, and it is popping and not very good throttle response. i think i have to rejet it but i dont know how. i have a jet kit but dont know which ones to use. please help.

Jetted rich from the factory? From my experience bikes are always lean due to enviro issues.

Take it out?

Then I would call the manuf of your jet kit and see what they say. I have a hard time believing its too rich from the factory but I dont own a KFX either. Im sure there is somone else more knowledgable.

Mine was rich from the factory. I have heard others claim the same thing. The only way you will know is to check your plugs.
