I was hunting around some of our sponsor's websites for a few graphics and
came across this handly little technical bulletin for a belt reset. For six bucks
I think I can find room in my toolbox for it. I haven't had to do this on my
Prairie yet, but I'm sure the situation will come up.

I believe it is the same info from the manual that KOD has on his website, it is scanned straight from the book. Take a look its free. Its the switch inside the cover.

I have a copy of the belt reset procedure here at home. I never will need it but I printed it off in case I ride with someone with an 03 to 05 model Prairie and it happens to them we will know what to do. I can scan this and put it on my site if anyone is interested in it.

wheelcow, what is the tool that cost $6? Is it the bulletin? Im going to the county fair in a little while. When I get back I will try to scan what I have and you can look at it. BTW, it wont cost you $6 either.

I was talking about the bulletin itself being a nice addition to my toolbox. A nice addition that is, if I were out in the middle of nowhere.
On the other hand, even if I had this little bulletin with me, would I have the tools present to make the fix? I'd like to think so, but it always seems that the one tool you need, you forgot!

I'd forgotten you had a website. My bad for not bookmarking it. What a great website indeed! I create sites for a living and its easy to see that much work went into your site. Tutorials on any subject are time consuming! Thank you sir!

Thanks for the comments on the site. I had a lot of help setting it up. I would do what you are talking about though with the instructions and tools needed to do the reset on the trail. Let me know if I can be of any help.
