Default prarie 360 keeps going

occasionally when out riding when i come to a stop my 360 doesnt go out of gear and keeps trying to go on and "chugs" the motor down so that it goes dead.. it is like driving a stick shift car and stopping without putting in the clutch and of course it "chugs" on jerks and goes dead.. why is this happening? i just had a new belt put on and a spacer taken out to tighten and also removed the EBS since it went out and didnt want to throw money away on a new one.....does any of this have anything to do with my new problem????

coonelder--maybe the belt is too tight??? Who installed the new belt??? You say you removed the KEBC???? What did you do?? Do you notice any performance improvement??

How many miles do you have on your 360?? I had a simular problem on mine, turned out the pins that hold the clutch weights on the primary clutch had worn out & were making the weights stick, thus not allowing the the primary clutch to extend all the way back out to release the belt.. Best way to find out is take the clutch cover off, & then ride it around your drive way & when you stop & the bike still wants to go, see if the primary clutch pops all the way back out. It it's not that you should be able to find out what is causing it to keep going (possibly belt is to tight)
