Default how to adjust shifter?

My brute force has 220 miles on it and the gear shifter doesn't work correctly. I do get it to go into every gear however the nuetral light doesn't come on unless it is inbetween neutral and reverse. Also th ereverse light doesn't come on hardly ever( so it will go fast in reverse without the override) but works fine. I notice the ratchet sound when it is in low range. Also the engine brake at about 2 MPH goes on and off causing the fourwheeler to jerk and hop. Any one did this to their BF and how do you do it? thanks...

The procedure is in nyroc's tech tips for P650's.....probably the same for BF. Also check for loose or cracked motor mounts as this will interfere with engine braking.

I recently acquired the same neutral light problem as yours, but without the other symptoms. Think I have a loose, dirty or bad switch somewhere.
