NEWDUCK lakota sport vs. Z250 aftermarket Style!
Hey gaff my clutch on my lakota sport is doing that samething but only it slips though 4th and a lot in 5th. I hear everyone talking about the k&g clutch but i been looking and can not find it anywhere. Can you help me out, like tell me where to get it, how much it is, also can i do it myself or do i have to get it done by my dealer. Any help is great thanks!!!

K&G factory clutches use to have a web site a good while ago but I don't believe they do now. I'll try to find the reciept for them, but your local accessory dealers should know who they are. The regular dealers seem to not carry them from what I found, but I bought a few of them from a accessary dealer down here.
As far as tires, I had the Razors, Holeshots and shreaders. The Razors and holeshots were real good but wore out unbelievably fast. I originally bought the shreaders for when I was not racing but ended up loving them. In fact I liked them better than all of them.
The slipping of the clutch comes mainly from the centrafugal drum. When you look at it you won't believe how hot it gets. Well any way it gets glazed up and doesn't stick to well so when you get in third or higher it really starts to slip. I had it worked out well and once you do it pulls so much harder in the upper gears.

Thanks gaff, i going to look into a k&g clutch and ask my dealer. Do the shreader tires still hit the battery box with having them 20" instead of 22". Also if i get stock size tires 22-11-10 on T-9 series rims instead of steel stocks would i be able to bolt them right to the stock hub.
