Help!! While riding last night my quad started to hesitate and stutter above half throttle. The cooling fan and head lights were also running slow and dimming. When I tried to start it again the solonoid would click but the starter would not engage. I took the battery out to charge it today and it was fully chraged. I could pull start it and did until smoke started coming out of the black box located near the battery compartment. I took it out and discovered that part of the backing had melted away and strong smelling(acrid) stuff was oozing out the back. I do not know what the black box is called but it seems to control the quads eletrical circuits. It has a Mitsubishi symbol and lots of numbers on it. Has anyone ever heard of this or had it happen to them. If so how much should it cost to repair. I take care of my 1998 Prairie and this one has me bewildered. Thanks for all the help in advance
Eric
