Arcticlion:
I just didn't care for the handling on the faster/tighter trails plus I got spoiled with the excellent brakes on the Kawasaki Prairies. With the extra weight of the Cat LE 650V2, the brakes were not up to the job for my liking or riding style. I tried different tires & wheels & still felt very nervous riding the V2 at the higher speeds on the more difficult twisting narrow trails, the BF handles these types of trails with ease. The Brute Force out-powers, out handles, out-steers & turns on a dime compared to the V2.
Other than that, the 650V2 is a nice machine & a smoother ride over the Brute Force.
The BF750 ride is a big improvement over the Prairie 650/700s, just my opinion.
I am 100% pleased with the switch over from the V2 to the Mightly Brute Force 750.
But, I sure do miss that Lime Green Limited Edition Color on that V2!
