Got a question. i just ordered the dynatek CDI for my '02 prairie 650. what i was wondering was that how many with this CDI had to rejet if any. and if you did rejet how much?? any information is helpful Thank you.

 

I installed the Dyna CDI on my 2004 P700 and did not have to rejet any. Runs Great!

 

Check your plugs. Scott at Dyna recommended going up to the next size jet. In other words whatever you are running move your rear jet to front and go up to the next size in the rear.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

 

I had to jet down on my 700. I was using the dyna jet kit. Try it the way it is, you may be just fine the way i t is.

 

I have a Dyna CDI in all 3 of my V-twin quads and so far the I found that the P650 got a big boost from it with out doing anything, however I have not seen much gains out the 700's. I think I need to put a jet kit in the 700 to get it up to par. We did alot of testing last weekend on this. You might look at the topic I started on my FST 800, I detailed what was going on last weekend with our stock 700 a modded 700 and the old P650.
