Default Dayco 360 Belt (HP2019)

Just put it on today, havn't taken it out for any rides other then down the street & back.. I put it on without any shims & then measured it, seems to be right in spec (.75 in). It seems to hook up better then stock, but take off doesnt seem to be as fast (dont know maybe it's just me) once I do some top speed runs I'll let ya know how it does there.

Well
Did the belt adjust on mine and the wife's.
No shims in mine still on the top end of spec with the 2018 belt.
The wifes had 2 shims, pulled both, still with the stock belt wants to go at idle.

i have the 2018 in mine runs fine.
The only diff I found is the 2018 and 2019 belt is .020 more narrow on the top of the belt than the stock 360.
May make a diff on a 650 or 700.

Dayco belt is 39 bucks, Stock Kawasaki belt is bout 100 bucks.
I am very happy with my Dayco belt.

BRT, how many miles have you put on your dayco belts?? you notice any loss of acceleration or top speed?

Mine has the Dayco belt and black spring.
If I had to guess I have 50 to 60 hours on it.
With stock tires I couldn't tell any difference.
I believe the spring made the shifting better throughout the RPM range.
To answer your question, No loss of acceleration or speed due to the belt.

Now I have the 26" Mudlites and I can tell a little difference.
I don't believe the belt had any effect just the bigger tires.
Just way more bite than the stock tires.
But after some carb tweakin and tuning it runs fine.
43 mph top end even with the big tires.

BRT- If you still get 43MPH with 26" tires you are doing well. My 360 is stock and I only get 70km/42MPH. I think this is due to my 240lbs weight.

I may put on 25" Kenda Bearclaws but if my bike has reduced power I may stick with the Dunflops. I find the 360 a little under powered vs the Eiger or 400 AC. I think the 360 needs the compression increased to match the Eiger or AC.

I am still on the stock belt with 1050 KM/650 Miles/45hrs without any belt slipping or adjustment.

I kept the stock 25" bearclaws & lost no power with them, I might go to 26" next timw however. My top speed is 45- 48mph I have even hit 52 before on a slight downgrade. I agree it is a bit underpowered compared to the eiger, however it accells a bit more in difficult conditions (mud, snow, rocks) so it's just a trade off..
