what is a all stock 1988 tecate 4 worth???? completly stock even the tires. engine is all factory parts (has not been ridden very much) the only thing aftermarket is the reeds....boysen???? is it worth $1200???

 

I would say yes, it is worth it. I had the chance to ride with one many years ago when I still had my Tri-Z 250 (3-wheeler). The motor in the Kawi. rips. I actually would say it will give any modern sport a run for there money in a drag. The suspension is out dated, being an 88, but you can always add shocks and a-arms to help it out. The only negative thing about it that I saw is the fenders cracked very easily on them.

 

Yeah I would buy it in a flash for that price. Very rare machine but very powerful

id buy the kawasaki or honda anything else would be uncivilized , buy it if you like it ....... there nice and strong and plenty to speare on power wise or you can get it modified if it hasn't already personaly i think once you get it and play around on it for a day youll be very glad you bought it

 

Hello Im new to this club and I own a 88 tecate 4. If your looking for a ripping quad. That is the one to have. Ill be putting a new piston and ring in and then shell be all set for the trail. If anyone body knows someone that has any tecate 4 parts for sale let me know thanks.
