Yes I do have a KFX 700 and love it. I raced it at the 12 hour race last weekend. It is a machine that is good at just about anything...easy to ride, easy to be fast on or just putt around on the trails with. Diamond G sells them for around $79 for a pair...The stock tie rods are just too weak for even trail riding, you'll be asking for trouble if you don't change them in my opinion. If you are going to race I would put a set of Honda EX400 tie-rod ends on it too...the ends are OK but if you push the V a lot they will wear. There are a lot of mods that you can do to give it more zip...if you go to kawieriders you'll find a bunch of guys there that are serious about helping you out and getting mods done...straight up good guys. There a few of them in here too I noticed.

new2...
I've had mine for about 2 years now and have never had a problem. When I bought it, I was just planning on using it for trail riding. Being that it's shaft driven, it has alot more clearance than the other sport quads. I ride with a couple of buddys who ride a Predator and a Raptor and I have to say that the KFX outclasses them both on the trails. There is a long rutted out hill that we climb up and the KFX is the only one that can make it up without having to get off and re-position to make it through the ruts. I really like the Raptor and how light it is compared to the KFX, but I would never trade mine in for a Raptor. The only downside of the KFX is the weight and the suspension. I feel that the typical V rider should be at least 185 and up. Smaller riders might have trouble throwing this thing around. When the speeds are high, the stock suspension is too taxed and the rear end can bounce out from under you. I said earlier that I bought this thing for trail riding, but lately I've been gettting into drag racing. Stock, don't expect the V to outrun any raptors, but if you decide to modify it, it can be made just as quick as any other quad out there. Good luck on your decision.

It does everything well and makes it fun. i ride sand dunes, trails, and even motocross with it. Hopped up, it will run with most any fast sport quad, and I still used it to pull a pallet around my yard when prepping for seed LOL!!!
Check out my pics, for what you can do to it. The Tie rods KTM265 mentioned are very nice pieces.

As of yet, I haven't had any problems with my V, and my Tie rods are still straight as an arrow. I heard all of the talk about them bending easy, so I went out and purchased 2 new stock ones, just in case. I think they were about $10 each. KTM (Hi Buddy) makes stronger tie rods that everyone has given great reviews of, but I am from the mindset that I think I would rather have a $10 part bend, to save a more expensive part from being damaged. Either way, the V is proving to be a very reliable Quad.

Hey RPM...I haven't converted you over yet? Buddy, I'm going to have to work something out with you on it. If you haven't bent your stock rods then you are not riding it because just sitting on it seems to be enough on those junk tie-rods to give them a nice U shape. I'm working on getting the pictures gathered up...trying to be creative to keep it under wraps just a little.
