Default V-Force tie rod ends.

Hey guys, I realize I'm being lazy and probably could've searched harder.....who knows what are the better tie rod ends, and where can I get them for my 700. Both inners are all but falling out.

Thanks,

Use the Honda EX400 ends...Tie-rods from Diamond G...you'll not have any problems after that. Check your steering stem that the ends didn't egg out the openning. We found that to be in issue on mine at the 12 hour. I had an inner tie-rod go bad, replaced it with a new one only to find it still had some slop where the old inner tie-rod end had wore on it...

I was told about some on rockymountainatv.com Tusk brand for 400ex. I just noticed I needed an inner one also. My V is only 7 months old I think I have something else wrong. How old is your V??? Mine has very little slack but noticeable. How much do your ends move around?? Also how did you notice they were worn out?? Sorry for all the questions. Thanks

Ckill...I bought my V in March of 04. Bought in on a Saturday and raced it on Sunday. I have put 2 hare scrambles on it, 7 MX races and the 12 hour last weekend. I bent 3 sets of stock tie-rods, enough that I got mad and started making the replacement ones that Diamond G now carries. I'm guessing I had about an inch of play in one wheel...even after we replaced the inner end with a new one we still had slop because it wore the stem making the opening a little larger.

Ckill, I got my V last April, this is my second set of inners and one outer. I beat it down alot of rocky trails and don't really feel let down by it, I just wanted better ones. They just feel sloppy in the steering when they go.

Thanks to an anonymous Brian who fielded a phone call from a stranger to help me out with this.

Ok yall are making me feel a little better about tearing up my ends. I got mine April 04. 2lman sorry but did you get yours in 03 or 04. I don't have nearly and inch of play more like a 1/16. So I guess I will wait a little while. Have a good day.
