What tires do yall think i should get for my Brute. I know the stock ones are horrible.
I have been thinking 1:Mud Lites but i have heard they whear(spelling) quickly
2: 589's but heard they whear quickly also dont care if the ride is bad
3: Maxxis mud Mud Bug i herd nothing about this tire
4: GBC Gator nothing of this either
5: Bear Klaws I have seen these in action and think they are pretty good
I ride on everything hardpack, gravel, up muddy hills, and best of all mud pits. When ever i see mud pit got to go and i love going in creeks i mean deep creeks. What tire is best all around good in mud and does not wear quickly. Tell me what yall think.

Well, like you said, anything will be an upgrade from the dunlops. I have 28" zillas on mine right now and like them. They do decent on rocky trails and are great in the mud. I won't procalim them as the best as I don't have experience with any of the others except the mudbugs, which I have on the rear of the KFX700.

i have 27" mudlites on my brute and they seem so huge, the deeper lug is nice and they do pretty well in the mud, a little more wheel spin but good. pretty good on the trail as well. just tooling around the driveway or backyard they seem kinda cumbersome. but on the trail you dont even notice that your runnin 27's. and dont dismiss the stockers just yet. i'm not a big fan of dunlops but when i'm tired of muddin and goin through deep snow the stockers are good for a nice soft trail ride and i've beaten on them pretty good as well and they have held up. i also have 25" gators on my honda rubicon and they go good as well, a very good mud tire, not so good on the trail, not that they are lumpy or anything but on hard, wet or dry trails, while riding fast can actually be a bit skidish. to be honest if you go with any of these mud tires i suggest going with 26" or bigger because the tread deepens as you go up. if you get 25" you arnt getting the best performance out of those tires. hope this helps. Tire choices anymore is getting to be tough to find exactly what you are looking for & needing.
Long wearing I can say the Goodyear Mudrunners are great but the Mudrunners are a heavy tire.
Another great tire is the ITP Holeshot Radials & they are now available in the 26" size. The only thing I don't like about the Holeshot is they don't do well in the snow.
I've read both pros & cons on the Mudlites & about the only reason I have them now is b/c my BF750 needed some better meatier tires under it + I wanted to improve the handling too over the stock wheel/tire set-up. I found a decent price on a set of 4 - Mudlites in the 26" tire, 4 - ITP Black Type4 wheels for my added handling, 16 black ITP Lug-nuts & 4 - Black ITP Center Caps & shipping all for $539. The place I ordered thru only offered the Holeshot Radials, 589's & the Mudlites. If it wasn't for the winter months & snow coming, I would of went with the 26" Radials, I do not do any mudding at all so that nixed the 589's + the 589s are a heavier tire too. Being that the Mudlite has a simaliar tread design like the Mudrunner & the Mudrunner is a great all-purpose tire, I figured I would give the 26" XT Mudlites a try.
I did go with a 26x9x12 for the fronts & stayed with a 26x10x12 for the rears. So far, the 26x10x12's on the rear have worked out great. On my Prairie 650s, I have used the 27x12x12 for the Rears but for my needs, I felt the 27x12x12 was overkill.

I have the 25'' ATR's mounted on the c-series. I love them, great traction everywhere (don't know about snow as of yet). The big advantage is that they make the machine a lot sportier. The handeling is 10X better than stock with them, mainly due to the increased stance, also only being a 25 in tire you don't have a hardly any body roll and it will slide great around the corners. If your main focus is to have a swamper then you should look at a 26-28 in tire. However, they are heaver and will increase the center of gravity on the bike thus increasing the body roll.

sep1, i watched atvtelevision the other day and had the atr's on a prairie 700 in probably 1" of snow, up hill and it was blazing a path for rubicon and vinson with mudlites and 589's. those tires were going real well in the snow. i was surprised just because they dont look agressive ya know.
