Default NEW P700

Hey guys,

I am new to the forum and just bought a 2004 p700 leftover. I also have a honda rubicon, but i was so impressed with the power of the p700 during the pumpkin run (in New Smyrna, Fl) that I just had to get one. Couple of questions that I need some answers from all u prarie owners. Is there anything that I would need to do right off the bat as far as preventive measures, seeing as how I will probably be going through lots of water and mud? And another thing I have a set of 27" goodyear mud runners on my other atv that i was going to put on the stock rims of the prarie. Will they fit with out a lift?

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated

Change your driven spring 1st. This will lengthen your belt life and help turn those larger tires. If you think the power is impressive now just put in a DG3 or 5 and an offset key for timing........ wow what a difference! Also if you like a throaty sound (to cover the tranny whine) do the Nyroc muffler mod.

Good luck
Chris

The 27in tires will fit perfect. I wouldnt worry so much about the offset key and etc unless you plan on drag racing all the time. I did however put a EPI black spring in to help with the belt life. Just get used to it and then if you want more power read on and you will find several ways to make it go faster.
