thinking about puttiing in the epi (black) spring in my prarie to help save belt life. Is it the front (primary) or rear (secondary) pulley that I need to replace. I just got 27" mud runners. What is the best option for me. By the way just ordered the dg5 too. Cant wait to see what everyone has been talking about, as far as power gains.

I see you have the 05 BF 650 plus others. I just got the BF650 as have some others. I guess the big question is what parts work where. To start does the BF650 use the same belt as the p-700 or does it use parts from the 03 p-650. As far as primary and secondary springs again does it use the same as a p-700 or the older p-650. You are the only person I have seen here that has all of them there to compare with.

i just installed a dayco hp 2017 belt on my 05 p700 and also installed the black spring at that time, total it took about an hr after riding it and seeing what the deflection was after, but the install is really easy if you need some help go to nyrocs site and you'll find all you need there. i was in the dark till i went to his site cause i've never had a belt driven before, like nyroc says on his site once you tear it apart and see how it gets tore down it's easy. as far as my original belt i had 260 miles on it when it blew but that was after i smoked it 3 times pulling my buddie out of the river, you know how that goes..........lol. after i installed the black spring i did notice it wheelies easier so it must be gripping the belt better and it is supposed to increase the belt life which i apparenmtly need...........lol
