4x4 V-Force
Wish it existed. I'd buy one tomorrow if it did. Selectable 2 or 4 wheel drive. Same looks, same handling characteristics of the V-Force. Something to go head to head with the Scrambler and handle MUCH better.
Yeah, I know the Prairie exists and such, but it's not what I'm looking for.\
Oh, well, it's Christmas time so I thought I'd put my wish in.
Happy Holidays!

Yes the Prairie exist, and it might just be closer to what you are looking for than you realize. I have essentially the same exhaust on my Prairie that I had on my V-Force; the same airbox mods; the same jetting in the carbs, and an even more radical clutch set-up than I had on my V-Force. A stock Prairie weighs 86 lbs more than a stock V-Force, but you can shed 30 lbs by putting the same 22" size tires that come on a V-Force on to a Prairie. Then you can shed another 15 lbs by removing the racks and bumper, and six pounds by switching to an aftermarket exhaust. So you are left with a 4x4 ATV that has the same 700cc V-twin, with the same tuning, that weighs just 35 lbs more than a V-Force. 35 lbs for 4-wheel drive isn't all that bad (although I wish it was less). You can also run Works front struts on a Prairie, which increase suspension travel by an inch and a half. And you can run a Works Ultracross rear shock for a V-Force, on a Prairie, which bolts right in, and increases rear suspension travel by an inch and a half as well.
So until the manufacturers pull their heads out and build us a real 4x4 race quad, the Prairie may be worth a look. I think it beats the other two choices (Wolverine, and Scrambler).

I agree... though mine looks nothing like a V Force ( yet ), it will kill most stockish V Forces in a drag... certainly kills all Scramblers in any situation ( except for that 80lb kid on the nitrous 400 at the last drags )... I also regularly run 22" tires, & regularly beat the Forces, & DS 650's in 2 wd mud drags... with the 22" tires, I can "push" most 400 EX's through tight woods sections in hare scramble races... IMO, if you spent some time in the seat of a Prairie, you may find it's really closer to what you are looking for than you think... I'm going to try to squeeze my "fat betty" into sport quad plastic, over the winter... I'm leaning towards the new YFZ race plastic, & a set of DS front fenders

HMMM, that would awesome!! That would be killer. Theres room up front for it, hahah. I was actually thinkin of installin a winch on mine. I could make it work. Not sure yet. Gotta get a winch cheap. Used preferably. What yall think? I know i could still get the front end up anytime. I got the power. Guess only one way to find out, git r done!!

Don't get me wrong fellas, I love the Prairie! I'm not trying to take anything away from it. I know it's fairly close to what I want, but it's just not quite there. The front strut set-up is not at all what I want. Plus, I think we can all agree the V-Force handles better than the Prairie, and that's saying a lot because the Prairie handles awesome for what it is. But, the V-Force is a different machine altogether when it comes to the frame and it's geometry. However, if they were to get rid of the strut front end on the Prairie, I might consider it a little harder, but I just don't want the bulk of a Prairie (racks and looks). Granted the V-Force is not exactly small.
I know the Prairie can be made to spank a V-Force (but not mod for mod) and a Scrambler, too. But, what I would really love is 4x4 added to what the V-Force is right now. If it were made, to me, it would be the ultimate quad!
