Default 700 prairie overheating

has anyone had a problem with their 700 over heating? drove mine in a christmas parade tonight putting around for about an hr in 25 degree temps and it got warm enough that the fan needed to turn on but didnt, so it boiled over. when i got it to my shop i took the seat off and wiggled the fan relay or whatever that is with two wires going to it, and the fan started. seems like the connections there are crappy. anyone had this problem and any ideas to fix it?

Thats the first I have heard of that. They are picky about having the radiators VERY clean or they will get hot thats for sure.

I think they probably shook the fan fuse. Spray some contact cleaner and silcone spray on it. There might be some loose connections too... I hate it when my dealer shakes something and says it's fixed.... IT'S NOT AND IT WILL HAPPEN AGAIN... do something right the first time!

I had the same problem as you. I do alot of mud bogging and swamp riding. I had to tak my radiator out and lightly pressure wash it. It was amazing what came out of it even though it looked clean. While I was in the I cut the black plastic flap. I notice that it actually helps if you cut about an inch off out it near the radiatior. It actually hold stuff up in behind the protective screen. After that was done no more problems. Well almost. I forgot to hook up the 2 wires connecting to the radiator but since then. PERFECT!!@
