Default ground clearance

I have a p700 and Im looking to increase my ground clearance.

My friend has a polaris 400 and he has a few more inches that have def been in his favor. Some of the trails I am riding have prettey deep treads and my rear axle keeps getting hung up and I am stuck...........

Anybody have the same problem or have made some mods?

Will just buying a different tire make a difference?

I think a different tire is your only option to get your axle higher. My wife and I both share a Sportsman and a P700, and we find ourselves in the same situation. If it's mud or snow, we just pin the Prairie's throttle and it'll blast through whatever is in the way. The Prairie's overwhelming horsepower difference will often make up for the lack of ground clearance.

I have the same problem the only thing you can do is get a lift kit and taller tires and wheel spacers for you to stay out of those deep ruts.

Check here for all of that

I like this kit

I dont have a prarie but I think axle paddles are the ticket!!!! Those are perfect for your problems becasue they push you along when your wheels are not on the ground. I have seen them in action and they work. My Two cents>

Taller tires do it, but thats a trade off...youll notice less torque and low end power.
Wheel spacers work, but only slightly.
Best bet, is pick a different line thru the slop, and try to avoid the deep ruts. Guys who ride hondas, are always looking for different lines, because weve got the least amount of ground clearance. This is one of the disavantages of solid rear axle.
