Default Not a quad question........

With all the pointers I've gotten here and since there was discussion of the tailgate cable recall I'd like to ask about the steering box. At about 39k miles the steering box went south. The dealer was cool about it as I did not purchase the extended warranty because I don't beat on the truck anyway. So out of the dealers pocket it was replaced, but now I get what feels like if I were popping a knuckle on my finger. It's pretty subtle and doesn't alwyas do it so I'm thinkin' that the bolts on the steering box are getting loose. First question is how hard is it to get to these bolts that secure the steering box and #2 is this infact the steering box, anyone with more experience out there know any better? Thanks
