Cracked Plastic
#1
I just put my warn bumper on and when i took off the old stuff I noticed a crack around my headlight. Must have been when riding the guy in front of me backed into me, it made a hell of a noise but didn't see any damage till I took this off. My question is , any way of fixing this? I've seen plastic welders, but don't know much about them. Any idea's guys?

You can probably plastic weld it but it wont look pretty. Ive done some of this on cars. however, the "plastic stock" you weld with is normally black and designed to be sanded down and painted over once your done. You could get to the sanding part, but I dont think you would get paint to stick. Might be kind of ugly, but if all you want is a fix...
Its really nothing but a very large soldering iron type thing, with some different tips and different types of plastic rods that you melt onto the affected spot, you can lay down thin sheets of fiberglass and melt them to the surface for strength. Good luck.
