Nyroc exhaust mod

Yes KP700, you could do the exhaust mod and get away without jetting. It is a trial and error process. You need to be comfortable with alot more noise. Are you planning other mods?
I have recently done alot of the mods and need to do a few more....Pandoras box!!!!
Read up on the jetting charts for the altitude that your at....then you need to identify what jets you have in your carbs. It isn't that much of a deal to rejet. You need to rejet more than likely by the time you've done most of the mods regarding engine performance.ex.CDI,snorkle,exhaust,air filter, etc.
There has recently been some good chats on clutch springs...some of the guys claim that biggest performance gain was a simple clutch spring change.
Hope this ramble is helpful

maoamoamoahao.........nailed it about the jetting. It's just trial and error.
as far that the muffler mod in general. I modded my pipe at first. I drilled three ONE inch holes in all the baffles. It did increase the volume a bit but not to bad. It had a nice tone but kinda unrefined i guess is the right word. I put on the ProCircuit full exhaust and it is quite a bit louder but has a much better thumping sound to it IMO.

it gave me a better sound rather than a noticable increase in power. I haven't seen a big increase in power with the PC yet either..........i installed the DAJ's about the same time and have nothing but problems ever since.
it's worth the time just to get the better sound IMHO.
