kawasaki mojave pipe
#1
I was just wondering what kind of pipe I should put on my 2003 mojave.I was thinking of a cobra
jet megaphone. My dad has a cobra exhaust on his wolverine. I like the sound and it gives it alot of performance at a low cost.If any one knows what other brands would make this quad perform please reply.

Welcome to forums mojavemadman12, about the exhaust on your mojave i would say to go with a White Bros e-series, Dg Xcclerator, i dont know much about the cobra pipes so i really can't help you out there. Those are both great exhaust for the mojave and you will see a major amount of power increase.

I'd look at DG. I had that on my 2001 Mojave and it made it a big difference. Also rejet it. The DG pipe I had on my Mojave was really loud though. I had to make an end cap for mine. It also didn't have a spark arrestor in it.

i think with out a dout the best pipe is the Supertrapp Full system, Followed buy the WB-Sbend, These pipes give you get adjustablity, because of the removable disk, pluse they are easy to get replacement parts for just my .02

I have an old school DG RCM exhaust on my Mojave and like it.The only downside is that it is extremely loud. You might want to consider getting a new CDI or sending off your black box to someone like Four-Stroke Tech to be modified and I would also suggest an aftermarket air filter if you don't have one and maybe some holes drilled in the airbox lid.
After I put the pipe on my Mojave I kept hitting my rev limiter. The modified black box removed the rev limiter completly which is nice in racing as long as I remember to try and not over rev the motor. My Mojave is a 1988 model and I added the pipe around 1994 and the black box around 1999 or 2000.So far I haven't had any problems and the Mojave still runs like a champ.
If your looking for quicker acceleration and can live with a little less top end speed I would highly suggest a 1 tooth smaller front sprocket. It makes the mojave feel much stronger.

Hey mojave freaks
my green baby has a nos muffler from Kawis ZX7R motor bike, and it sounds not loud and it goes little faster, to fit this piece i´ve made my own adapter to the orignal tube with to 90° curves in a "s" from an exhausttube from old car.
