New to the forum a couple of weeks ago and have an 02 650 kawi, have heard alot about the Dynatek CDI, and just wondering if someone can give me some insight as to what it does for you or where you see the difference and what the going price is for the unit. Just wondering if there is any other changes that you have to make to the bike or how hard it is to install, and where the best place to get it is?Thanks

Its Plug and Play and best bang for buck on the 02 Prairie. You'll think you got a 700+ prairie after install.

Visit http://atv.dnsalias.com/ Has info about it & other good Performance info.

Run it with your 25" Mudlites to get max performance & be careful on the throttle the first time out. your quad will be a little wheelie prown in Low gear now.

You can get them direct from dynatek, I forgot what I paid for mine there, but I know on ebay right now they have a few for $239.00. I am happy with the purchase and would do it again if I bought another quad.

The CDI is about $250 from Dynatek. A primary pink spring from EPI is about $20 plus labor to install. Each of these mods give about the same improvement in power.

I have both, really like them both. If you do the primary spring, might as well do the black secondary spring at the same time for longer belt life.

Prorider, I'm using the black secondary spring and the stock primary spring. What gains will be noticed if I use the pink primary spring along with the black secondary? Also who makes and where can I buy the pink spring? THANKS...

Another spring you might try is the orange/blue primary from Dalton. Its all in what you like, Ive tried most of them and settled on this one. The EPI number you wanted is (218) 829-6036. The Dalton number is (902) 897-3333. Check with Dalton and they have local distributors. I know Ritter racing cycles is in Illinios and he is a Dalton dealer. Not to mention a very helpful person (rick). They have a website if you just search Rick Ritter.
