BF JETTING PROBLEM

I FOUND OUT THAT MY EXHAUST WAS RUNNING REDHOT
AND READ THAT THERE WAS A JETTING PROBLEM.
DOES ANYONE KNOW IF KAWASAKI HAS A RECALL
OR WILL THEY REPLACE IT UNDER WARRENTY. IF
I DONT GET IT CHANGED WILL IT HARM MY ENGINE.

They better know about it. It's old news and should be done ASAP!
Yes, running lean will damage the engine and IMO, I think there are gonna be a lot of unhappy people around here when all of these lean running brute motors develop issues down the road.
Mine is going back in even after the needle update because it still runs way too hot and lean.

Ask your dealer to check with Kawasaki, the recall is a "maintenance recall". They replace the needle valve in the front carb. It takes them not quite 2 hours to do the work, although you should call you service dept and schedule the work as they need to order to part ahead of time.
