Black secondary spring
#1
Just put a black secondary spring on my P650 this weekend and did not seem to gain any jump off the start, also seems to be reving out top end, or reving higher than it should. Any idea what may be wrong?

Check Your belt Deflection & ensure Secondary is properly installed/ shimmed if needed.
The rear larger Pulley houses the Secondary Spring. The Black Secondary spring is designed to give you a more tighter belt grip & prolong your belt life.
The Smaller Front pulley houses the Primary/Clutch/spring and changing the primary spring will give you more or = stall on takeoff and Higher shiftout. If you are after snap on takeoff, change your front primary clutch spring to the Orange/Blue Dalton. IF Dalton is not high enough stall, The Red EPI primary has a 200+ Higher RPM engagement than the Dalton Orange/Blue.

Thanks for the info tuffenuf, the deflection is good and I took one shim out, the belt is good and tight because it will squeal slightly at an idle in gear. Guess I wll order the orange/blue primary. Any idea on price?

About $20; Visit http://www.rittercycle.com/. Shipped in 4-5 days
RCR will tell you all you need to know about springs. I also purchased the Primary clutch removal tool(threaded bolt tool), sure makes removing your belt/Primary clutch assembly alot easier.
