700 Prairie not enough?

This is what I don't understand: people that want straight axle fun and serious mudding abilities can only choose the prairie platform to explore high and I mean high speed (safe full 90degree powerslide fun ) and all others can get a higher power motorIE BRUTE FORCE for basically lower expectations on the "trail" experience" and the hardcore riders of the "older generation that not only mastered the atc's that were so called not safe by tv critics that wanted ratings at the time + the explosion of the off road atv market at the time + lack of safety elements to protect the public want to tell me what I am to ride? give me a braek I feel for manufactures that have to limit their machines but come on I own a 1972 ct90 that's right 90cc and I have smoked 5 200xr's on top end if you don't believe me that's fine e-mail me and I will have us race on camera to please you, believe me the atv sector has fallen far behind all others my 90cc I guesss you could call a first edition enduro can beat machines 200cc I mean come on like I said do your homework banshee first year capeble of what, at least 80mph who can contest that and that does not include constant velocety carbs fuel injection nickasil coated sleeves fuel injection with uploadable maps and not to mention high lift cams nitrous im trying to tell you, you are paying for second rate technology look at streetbike they are the leaders for small motors right now im no expert but look at snowmobile technology it gets more intetense every year and I mean real numbers Like I say Iif I were to take a 1972 model skidoo and get 1972 Speed Machines *****
Speed runs were quickly becoming a problem (pardon the pun). The factories were spending too much money for very little return. For 1972, Ski-Doo built their strangest, and last speed machine, the Inferno.
Powered by two 797 cc free air triples similar to the X-2R this machine was quite a different beast. Where the X-2R's twin engines were linked to the front drive axle like a conventional sled, the Inferno drove both the front and rear axles, driving the single track from both ends. This was likely the cause for the insurmountable track reliability problems the Inferno suffered. Speeds wre recorded in execess of 140+ mph but in winter only shy of more than 100mph but makes a Quad look sivk in comparison only because people pu up with this crap

I think he is trying to say that ATV performance and technology is about 25 years behind any other motor sport, which is very true. I love my Prairie 800, but I had to double the horsepower and replace the suspension at both ends to get it to work the way I wanted it to. And I love my DS 650, but when I compare the technology, handling, and performance of the DS to my YZ dirt bike there is no comparison. The YZ is incredibly advanced compared to the DS, almost like it is a graceful ballerina and the DS is a bull in a china shop. And the DS is graceful compared to the Prairie.

my honda is graceful compared to my 700p.
but the 700 is more thrilling then the honda.
i call my honda a goat because it will take you anywhere you want to goat a deacent pace.
where as the 700p is like the tasmanian devil.
fast, hairy and a little bit scary.
but it will also get you where you want to go but with a big smile on your face and a load in your shorts.
my honda will do everything the kawasaki does and its easyer to ride.
i dont know if its the zillas that make it a handfull or what.
but the honda steers easyer and is not as wide in the saddle so it feels smaller and more nimble.
the cow is sure footed and rides good but its a real hand full compared to the honda.
but i will say one thing i have put 200 miles on the kawi in the last 2 weeks and i have put maybe 10 on the honda.
so im kinda liking the power of the kawi over the ride and comfort of the honda.
