Default CV carb question

Quick question for you guys. 1998 Bayou 300 runs like poop. I offered to take a look at it for the guy and noticed that it has a CV carb, well it appears that the vacum line for the slide isn't hooked up on the end opposite the carb. Am I blind and just can't see where it connects or does the other end not actually hook up to anything? I'm guessing it's like the old stock carbs I tore off my raptor and that line has to connect somewhere for vacum to raise the slide???

Default CV carb question

Does it have a vacumn operated fuel petcock? Does it have a 'pri' position? If so, that hose goes to the petcock.

Almost all cv carbs have internal vacumn ports. Most use a small hole in the bottom of the slide to get vacumn up to the chamber.

Default CV carb question

Could be a vent line, My CV carb has a vent line that sure looks like it needs to hook to something, but doesnt. Does it run better with it plugged?
