this machine is plenty fast for me for now, today I hit a hidden wash in the trail at a good rate of speed and did an unvolentary superman! suprisingly my feet hit dead on the pegs when I came back down. After I checked my pants for fecal mater my first thoughts were that I could use some nerf bars and an owners manual, it would be nice to now how the adjustments on the rear shocks work!

Seems like everyone already answered your questions, so I gotta brag a little. I just recently bought a 2005 KFX 700 Limited Edition...I love it, it's awesome to ride...easy to handle, all-around great. About the limited plastics, they are a little brittle but I've put it on her side a few times now and they haven't scratched, let alone break...I'll tell yah how they are when I roll. Needless to say, I am an 18 girl, 5 foot even and almost 100 pounds...If you're any bigger than that you'll have no problems, I haven't. Yer gonna love this machine...it's awesome.

Congrats on the 700. I myself just got a new '05 KFX 700 IG with the "Molten Silver" paint... It's one bad machine. Wont beat raptors stock in a drag but it will never get stuck when off road where the Raptor would. Recently just added a Muzzy 2 into 1 exhaust and it's worth gettin one for yours. Also about to put on a Dalton Blue primary spring kit with the overdrive clutch cover. I have heard they will wake up the V a lil more...
