Got a phone call last night from a rep. company of Kawasaki. The guy asked me if I wanted to sign up for the safety course that they are offering. I asked them where it was. He said it will be in my own home town but he did not have a date yet. I told him to sign me up and give me a call when they find out when it will happen.

4 hour course for $100.00. Hmmmmmm 25 bones an hour for learning something, and getting to ride!!!!! Not a bad deal at all if you ask me!!!! Maybe they can teach me how to wheelie my V? Naaaaaaa, do that enough by accident!!!! I suspect I will have a bunch of fun at this thing.

Anybody ever do this? Was it fun?

 

Sounds good as long as the guy on the other end is not asking fort a credit card to SCAM you.

 

Yeah, I got $100 when I took the course right after I bought a new Honda 250ex about 3 years ago. I'm glad I took the course (easy money), but its kinda boring if you have ever spent much time on a quad. Its mainly designed for newbies to atvs. Its definitely NOT an advanced course. Its required to ride on public land in TX to take this safety course first...unfortunately, we don't have much public land in TX (97% privately owned in TX) and not many folks take this course as a result.

its the real deal kawai offers the 100 doller deal usually a week or two after you buy the quad you recieve a call from a person asking about the training course do it get the 100 bucks

 

Several years ago I bought a new Kawie , they called me up and ask if I would take a riding course , I said I would pass I had been riding for nearly 30 years , they guy said he would pay me a 100 bucks so I said show me the place and I went it was pretty fun to see all the older people that are just getting into ATV trying to learn to ride, the sport is really growing , if we can just keep all the littering, disrespectful people off the public lands so they all don't get closed down we will be in good shape.
