Im not sure. Maybe check the kawasaki site and look at the diagrams? You shouldnt keep filling that tube with the plug with gas. Notice gas in the airbox?

I have seen gas in airbox... that is where it overflows to... which is why I am trying to find if there is an overflow tube so I can see why it is not coming out of it as opposed to the airbox?

Well, you may have mis-understood what I said.

When gas overflows, it comes out of the back of the carb and soaks the air filter. I would not think that is by design. If there was an overflow tube, I would not think it would route gas into the air filter

FFlyinn

Would help if you stated what type quad you have. On the prairie it the forward RH corner of your airbox. Other drain hoses are routed down and around CVT case, just retrace the one thats dripping.

Does shutting off your petcock when you are done riding Not help? May try checking, Either your floats are not working/stuck/ got matter caught in them or your choke plunger springs are sticking/weak/need lube.

Just shutting off the fuel when you are done riding or transporting your Quad works well to prevent overflowing on the Prairies.

Happy trails,

Thanks for the response... it is a 1996 Bayou 300 4x4.

I have now got into the habit of shutting the fuel off, but I am still concerned that while I am driving excess gas may be leaking out.

If it was leaking while your driving you should smell it. Inspect your arbox after it has set all night with the fuel shut off. If its dry, start up and take it for a few high speed runs, Shutdown & recheck.
